This year, I turn sixty — my Kanreki, the traditional milestone year of the Fire Horse. To mark this moment and with deep gratitude for everything that has brought me here, I painted this piece by hand as a small celebration for myself. When I turned forty, I made a “40T.” This time, I painted a parody of it. A little funny, right? This time it’s “60T.” I would be so happy if anyone remembers it or even still has one.
