eriutsugi’s first coat!
We’ve created a lightweight trench coat with kimono sleeves.
Initially, I wanted to use my favorite cotton material, but when I visited an exhibition by a fabric supplier who specializes in polyester fabrics, which are also sold by overseas brands, I felt inspired to challenge myself to make a trench coat with a polyester material I hadn’t used before.
When the samples were made, they turned out fresh and very good, just as I had hoped. However, the factory informed me that it would be difficult to produce a large quantity, so I decided to make only a small amount.
Due to the unique fabric, each sewing machine needs to be tested and adjusted individually.
Even though they said they would make it, I didn’t want to deliver clothes made with tired feelings to customers, so I decided to make a moderate amount.
There are slits under the kimono sleeves, making it easy to wear diagonally across the body with a shoulder bag or backpack.
It’s the perfect size for eriutsugi’s Big-sized clothing.
It’s lightweight and smooth to the touch, making it highly recommended for fashionable coats during the transitional seasons.
