The brand of my senior, whom I’ve always admired, tsumori chisato, is celebrating its 35th anniversary—what an amazing milestone!I went to see the exhibition at Hikarie, where many of her creations were on display. I was deeply encouraged by her power and strength, having continuously created so many works over the years. I also had the joy of meeting some familiar faces from the past—it was wonderful to see everyone looking so well.After that, I visited the pop-up shop of an old friend who had come to Japan for the event at Shinjuku Isetan. She usually sells hand-knitted pieces, but this time I bought a ring.She’s been living in Paris ever since she moved into the apartment I left behind after my study abroad there. When she lost her mother and returned to Japan, it was exactly when I was determined to start the eriutsugi brand. I will never forget how much her kindness and support meant to me at that time—it gave me so much strength.That’s why this day felt like a day of gratitude.

お世話になった先輩のブランド、tsumotichisatoブランドも35周年！驚きです。

彼女が生み出した数々の作品が、展示されているということで行ってきました。

沢山の作品を常に生み出し続けた彼女のパワーと強さに、とても励まされます。懐かしい人々にも会え、皆さん元気そうでなによりでした。

その後は、新宿伊勢丹でポップアップをしに日本に来ていた昔からの友人のお店に行き、手編みの作品を販売している彼女だけれど、今回は指輪を購入。

彼女は私がパリ留学から帰る時、私の住んでいたアパートの部屋に入り、その後ずっとパリ在住。

お母様を亡くし、日本に帰って来た時にちょうどeriutsugi ブランドを奮起して始める時で、彼女がとても労ってくれたことがとても力になったのを今でも忘れられない思い出です。

なのでこの日は感謝の日。

感謝が育ったので、感謝の木を描きたくなりました。
