I had been trying to draw the eriutsugi “e swirl” motif in embroidery, but no matter how many times I tried, it just wouldn’t land. Then, on a whim, I changed my pen—and finally, it came together.♡For next spring, I had an image of a certain pattern, but the technique would have made the fabric cost skyrocket, so I had to let it go. Still, it lingers in my mind, leaving me with a sense of unfinished business.At such a moment, watching an animal video soothes that frustration.Sometimes it’s the unpleasant feelings that drive us to take action. 刺繍の柄でeriutsugi のeウズを描いていたけれど、何回描いてもなかなか着地せず、ふとペンを変えてみて、やっと着地♡

来春のイメージで、イメージの柄があるけれど、その手法は生地値がものすごく高くなりそうで、諦めた。けれどもまだ、ずっと心残り。そんな時、動物の動画を観て、そのモヤモヤが癒される。嫌なことで駆り立てられて行動する。それがなかったら、行動しなかったかも？と思ったり。

なのでこの日は「ソバカス」。イヌや猫の髭の部分が愛おしい。
