Dungaree 60 Pattern Pants [Limited edition of 1 pieces]

This year, I turn sixty — my Kanreki, the traditional milestone year of the Fire Horse. To mark this moment and with deep gratitude for everything that has brought me here, I painted this piece by hand as a small celebration for myself. I hand-painted this piece on dungaree pants. On a navy base, I painted the number “60” graphically in white. The design is a graphic hand-painting made by lining up the number “60.” Interestingly, about twenty years ago I printed the number “40” on bags and gave them as gifts. The base is the same shape as the Dungaree Cropped Pants we previously released. With a relaxed silhouette, they have the balanced shape that feels very eriutsugi. They pair beautifully with the shirt made from the same fabric like a suit, but they also look great worn on their own. A perfect piece for a special moment. ♡ *Hand-painted with acrylic paint.
